CLIENT DSM creates and innovate products and services that help to improve the quality of life.The company is behind numerous more well known products, mainly in the chemical sector.
THE GOAL The existing website was too old-fashion and needed to be revamped, giving the DSM image a boost at the same time. The look and feel should all be about being innovative, international, modern and human.
MY INPUT Together with the art director of the project, I designed a new look and feel concept and color scheme. My job was also to build the templates for the DSM website.

CLIENT AXA, one of Europe 's main Insurance Companies, with head office in France , is the leading insurer in the Dutch market place.
THE GOAL The assignment was to make page designs with the templates provided by AXA in France , to re-arrange the content to make it more customer focused and with better usability and to design a new homepage.
MY INPUT Together with the user interface department we re-designed the templates and I designed a new homepage.

CLIENT Essent is a major player in the liberal Dutch and European energy market, @Home is the internet provider of Essent
THE GOAL Design an interface and front-end for an anti-virus and firewall application that would use the guidelines of the Essent stylebook. The backend was provided by an extern party.
MY INPUT Design a splash screen and guidelines for the actual program and design (desktop) icons for the different programs. These programs offered to the @Home users of internet was a new step in the total package provided by @Home. New styles and guidelines were developed from scratch, no design limits attached.

CLIENT The Flower Council of Holland promotes the sale of floricultural products from The Netherlands on behalf of farmers, agricultural companies and traders.
THE GOAL The Flower Council expanded their website to better target the important USA market and Clients. When doing this, a complete restyle of the look and feel was made.
MY INPUT Bright flowery colors where used in the pallet and to complementary the strong grid I used images for the main titles. By designing a flash application fitted in the upper section of the site, interactive content was added to let visitors on the site make their own bouquets. For press and specific PR releases a different design is made to further aid promotion in a professional way.

CLIENT FWG stands for Functie Waarderingen in de Gezondheidszorg or freely translated function evaluation in the health sector. A branch organization working with bench marking, training, pricing and wage issues within the Healthsector.
THE GOAL A new website with a distinguished fresh look. The assignment allowed only a very tight color pallet, but with a new information architecture. From the navigation it should be clear what content is and is not available for the members/non members of FWG.
MY INPUT Concept and overall design of the new website for FWG. From the start the client was very clear that the content was king. The design should be subordinate yet supportive of the content.

CLIENT Bint is a shipping company specialized in renting high end yachts for sailing, wedding parties and other official functions.
THE GOAL The website should visualize the feeling of gliding over the water, enjoying the gentle seabreeze and the good life. Content may be limited, but the overall design, ‘look and feel’ and communication of flair was the most important.
MY INPUT The design of the website, provide it the feeling of water and fun, through large photos and a playful navigation. The site was also prepared for an upgrade with Flash movie components (an option at that time not exercised).

CLIENT Heineken is one of the multinational brewery companies at the very top. THE GOAL To design flash cards for Christmas, using the consistent color scheme and logo use throughout the Heineken website.

CLIENT Compaq is one of the major computer and laptop hardware providers in the world, including computer related items, such as printers.
THE GOAL A quick solution for a combined advertisement campaign in the national papers, and the supportive promotion on the internet.
MY INPUT Combine the flyer advert with the style guide Compaq was using for the internet to create a new design within the standard navigation of the Compaq website.

CLIENT Mona is a brand within the Unilever Group, famous for delicious desserts and tasty dairy products.
THE GOAL Put all the information about the desserts, most important the ingredients, online. Via the internet, visitors on the site can vote for their favorite Mona products, ask questions and communicate their concerns or tips to the Company. By personalizing the products the brand name will grow stronger. The look and feel should be Mona throughout the website, in tone of voice and look and feel. Mona has a very strong offline concept.
MY INPUT As a design team we worked on the idea of using the strong forms and colors Mona uses for their deserts and to convert it to an online design. The result is a website where you almost can taste the goodies.

CLIENT Variomatic specializes in Internet solutions.
THE GOAL A new website that would attract new customers and visualize the values of the company, such as customer focused and technically high developed services.
MY INPUT A complete new design for the Variomatic website, where I took the sign language from the 20th Century as a start. The clear visual language is still working, and the technical touch of the illustrations from past decades is suiting technical focused Variomatic.
