CLIENT Stichting September is a company that writes books and makes DVD's about
chronic diseases, such as arthritis, cholesterol, obesities etc.
THE GOAL To give a face to all the different stories and backgrounds of people suffering from mostly something that can't be seen on the outside. Most of target audience is not well known with computers, so the movies should be readily accessible and easy to follow.
MY INPUT I made 12 movies about different chronic diseases. The final movie clip varies in length between four and six minutes. Easy pass, clean cut. For each specific illness I got a conceptual script. This concept I then detailed out including camera angles, lighting and complementary scenes. For each movie, two or more actors where arranged. After shooting, the digital edit and post-montage was completed from my home workstation.

CLIENT Movie made on Freelance basis. In essence a road movie made from the bicycle, by and with me and my boyfriend.
GOAL Together we covered the whole US Rocky Mountains, starting at the border with Mexico and all the way up to the border with Canada . In total almost 5,000km of cycling over rough roads. It all comes together in the documentary ‘Lustfordust': the sweat, the challenges and the American people.
MY INPUT Filmed with our Canon semi-professional camera, a concept and general scenario was worked out. Interesting situations, people and breath taking scenery encountered along the way was added on an ad-hoc basis. The final storyboard and digital edit and post-montage was then prepared.
